Just in case you havent yet got your fill of 80s video games being made into live-action movies yet, It looks like PAC-MAN fever has finally made its way to the big screen! According to the Hollywood Reporter, PAC-MAN is getting its very own live action movie, but just be warned – theres very little information to go off of so far.  Absolutely no news on actors or a movie release date yet, but we do know that the project will be based on an original story idea, thought up by Chuck Williams, who was one of the associate producers on the film Sonic The Hedgehog. At least someone with some experience with turning a game into a movie is involved – that’s kinda reassuring. Since we have very little to go on so far, i’m going to say they really should NOT make this in New York, or even Earth for that matter!  I would much rather see something  along the lines of  taking the viewer into the world of Pac-Land, or even a simulation of the game PAC-MAN itself.  Sorta like we saw with the 1982 movie Tron. Speaking of that, whatever happened to that Tron 3 movie we were suppose to get.  Hmm.. I just think that bringing animated or CGI characters into the real world is really played out and I would love to see this new movie take a different direction entirely.    Sonic the Hedgehog, Pikachu Detective , Rescue Rangers, Tom And Jerry..    Enough Already!! There’s tons of movies that could have immersed us in their world, maybe we will be lucky and PAC-MAN will be the first?
